Below are links to downloadable files of LWVNE-produced voter information materials.  Orders may continue to be placed until all materials are distributed.  The Voting Rights brochure is no longer available and supplies are running low on the small VOTE brochures, but orders will be filled until the supply is depleted.  There are still several copies of the Voices of Voters DVD and even more of the Morning Edition DVD (both may be viewed on this Web site).  The scanned pdf images of both the VOTE brochure and the Voting Rights brochure require legal-sized paper (8.5 x 14 inches) for printing at full size.  The PowerPoint of the VOTE brochure is editable; for example, a scanned image of a local sample ballot may be inserted.  There is also a pdf version of the VOTE brochure PowerPoint file.  Please contact the League at 402-475-1411 with questions about your order or the materials.

Who can vote in Nebraska?

Registering to vote is required in Nebraska to be eligible to vote. Check deadlines here.

To register you must:

• be a United States citizen and a resident of the State of Nebraska.
• be 18 years of age on or before the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
• have not been convicted of a felony, or if convicted, at least two years have passed since the completion of your sentence including parole term.
• have not been officially found to be mentally incompetent.
